Dark Factory — a small, self-hosted research workshop
A platform run by one person on their own hardware. Its main application, AI Wallet, helps its users follow the investments they already hold: it collects public news, analysis and videos about them every morning and writes each user a cited daily report.
What the application does
Keeps a dossier per holding
For every investment a user holds, AI Wallet keeps their own notes and thesis, and everything collected about it — news, press, reports, videos — searchable and linked to the companies, countries and sectors it concerns.
Writes a daily report
Once a morning it summarises what changed and judges each position under the user's own investment strategy, citing its sources. It recommends; it never trades and cannot move money.
Reads the user's YouTube subscriptions — only if asked
A user may connect their own Google account, read-only. AI Wallet then looks at the new uploads of the channels that user subscribes to and reads the public captions of the videos relevant to their holdings.
Why it asks for access to your Google account
Connecting Google is optional and serves one feature: finding new videos from the channels you already follow, so the videos that discuss your investments can appear in your dossier and your daily report, with links to the moment they are discussed.

Your Google data is used only to provide this feature to you. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared with other users, and never used to train AI models. You can disconnect at any time in the application, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Details are in the privacy policy.
